Are you struggling to
create needed change in the programs, policies and practices of your community or to start or adapt
needed new programs?
When data are either created or found that serves community needs, identified problems often
remained overwhelming. It can be difficult for community volunteers to clearly chart how
they will make a difference in community wide indicators such as rates of teen pregnancy.
CSG has helped many groups create a clear picture of how they will make a difference and
then helped these group use this clearer view to gain needed support, organize their
multiple partners into functional work groups and serve as the backbone for a
helpful evaluation.
Better local data and a clearly articulated picture of how the group will make a difference
makes identifying needed changes in local policies and practices easier. Effecting these
policy and practice changes can be difficult and CSG has helped volunteers learn
essential advocacy and policy change skills to achieve these needed
changes.
